# Manejo de imágenes

## ¿Por qué las fotos se ven distintas al subirse a Fenicio? <a href="#por-que-las-fotos-se-ven-distintas-al-subirse-a-fenicio" id="por-que-las-fotos-se-ven-distintas-al-subirse-a-fenicio"></a>

### Los colores difieren o se ven apagados <a href="#los-colores-difieren-o-se-ven-apagados" id="los-colores-difieren-o-se-ven-apagados"></a>

Esto puede ocurrir debido a que en algunas cámaras, o luego de procesarse con con algunos programas, las imágenes quedan con cierta información asociada llamada "perfil de colores". Esa información anexa se pierde cuando las imágenes se suben a Fenicio. Para evitar ese problema, las fotos que se suban deben deben guardarse con la opción "para web" o similar según el software que se utilice.  De esa forma se evita que se pierda esa información de color.

### Las imágenes tienen peor definición que las originales <a href="#las-imagenes-tienen-peor-definicion-que-las-originales" id="las-imagenes-tienen-peor-definicion-que-las-originales"></a>

Fenicio aplica cierta compresión y redimensionamiento a las imágenes, necesarios para optimizar la velocidad de navegación. Esto puede generar algunas mínimas diferencias de calidad si se las compara respecto a las originales. En general son imperceptibles, aunque pueden notarse más en elementos finos como textos o pantallas estilo retina, por ejemplo.

Este es un comportamiento general de Fenicio que no es modificable caso a caso, pero se definió procurando el mejor equilibrio posible entre performance y calidad.
