# Estructura de los productos
El catálogo de productos es el repositorio de todos los productos que constituyen la oferta de una tienda online en Fenicio. En Fenicio, los productos están estructurados en niveles:
1. Producto base
2. Variantes del producto
3. Presentaciones
Cada producto base puede tener una o más variantes (por ejemplo, los diferentes colores de un mismo producto base podrían constituir variantes). A su vez, cada variante puede tener una o más presentaciones. Por lo general las presentaciones refieren a los diferentes talles o tamaños disponibles.
De esta forma queda definido un artículo individual, que es el resultado de una determinada presentación de una determinada variante de un producto.

## Productos sin variantes
Internamente, Fenicio gestiona variantes para todos los productos. Aquellos que no tienen variantes se consideran, a nivel de datos, como si tuvieran una única variante. Sin embargo, en las interfaces de gestión y en el sitio de ventas, los productos se presentan de forma simplificada, omitiendo el concepto de variante.
## Productos sin presentaciones
Igualmente, muchos productos suelen no tener múltiples presentaciones o talles. En esos casos, Fenicio maneja el concepto de "presentación única" para esos productos, simplificándose la interacción y visualización.
